Do We Need to Pick Our Days When We Register for Camp?

With Aloha Beach Camp's day-by-day enrollment format, you can send your child to camp on a flexible schedule you create by yourself. Pick a day here, a day there or whatever works for you. No long-term commitments and no prearranged enrollment sessions to conform to. If it's good for you, it's good for us.

When you register for camp, you will need to complete an enrollment form. On that form, you will have the option of picking your days at camp now, or giving them to us later. If you only fill out the enrollment form without picking us your days, your child will still have a guaranteed space at camp, but when you are ready to pick your days later, the days you want may be sold out.

The only way to guarantee your first choice of days is by choosing your days at the time you initially register for camp. You can always change them later if something comes up.

When You're Ready to Buy Your Child a Surboard, Here's What You Need to Know

We mentioned earlier that lots of kids are looking for surf camps and lessons. Keep in mind, the surf camp, school or instructor instructor should provide all equipment including the surfboard. Eventually your child might want to by his or her own surfboard though, so here's an article on how to do that.

Los Angeles Surf Lessons for Kids

Seems like more and more kids want surfing lessons each summer. So we get this question often:

"Do you offer surfing lessons in Los Angeles?"

Or, "Does your camp have surfing lessons?"

The answer is yes.

Aloha Beach Camp offers surf lessons in Los Angeles within its day camp program or on a group or private lesson basis apart from the camp daySurfing lessons are incorporated into the camp day as an instructional Aloha Beach Camp activity. It doesn't matter if your child has never even seen a surfboard or they're an experienced surfer looking to pick up tips from a pro. We'll teach them everything they need to know to master the art of surfing in a safe and fun way.

Now. If you're looking for private surfing lessons (outside of our summer camp program), we can help with that too.

We've got surfing instructors on hand 7 days a week, so leave a comment or send us an email to let us know what you're looking for and we'll be glad to help.

My Son Josh, Kite Flying at the Beach

I took this picture the other day of my son Josh at the beach. Took it with my phone because I didn't have a camera so it's not as clear as it could be...but I like it a lot anyway, hope you do too.

"When Do I Need to Pay for Camp?"

We usually require full payment before your child starts camp. But we realize times are tough and camp's not cheap. So if you'd like to set up a payment plan or post date your checks, that's absolutely fine with us. Just let us know what's easy for you. We are happy to help however we can.
